Hailed for her elegant and insightful interpretations, balanced artistry and brilliant technique, Vicky Lee has established herself as one of the most captivating pianists of her generation.

Originally from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Vicky had her debut concert at the age of 12, and gave several other concerts throughout Taiwan. Since then, she has distinguished herself as a driven and gifted pianist, with numerous performances spanning Asia and the United States. Throughout her career, Vicky has performed and recorded extensively as both a soloist and a collaborative pianist. Most recently, she has become closely involved in working with exciting contemporary composers. As a member of her Chicago-based ensemble Zafa Collective, Vicky was proud to premiére the works of Michal Massoud and Sato Matsui in 2017.

Vicky received her B.M. in Piano Performance from Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and her M.M. from Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music, and another M.M. in Piano Collaborative from Mannes, studying under Peter Takács, James Giles, and Audrey Axinn. Vicky currently resides in New York City, she is a prolific accompanist, as well as a private piano instructor.
